symbol

Apricot

The ancient wild apricot is a classic denizen of our hills in the area of Brisighella, producing a juicy, sweet, richly-flavoured fruit that conjures up smooth velvet. The Vena del Gesso area, just a few kilometres from the cellar, still boasts the albicocca tonda di Tossignano cultivar, in a few surviving trees.

The sangiovese grape grows in these same areas, and its green colour on the wine label pays homage to the olive trees and artichoke fields of Moretto that flourish near La Berta, thanks to favourable weather conditions
